I noticed a week ago my two tangs (Pacific Blue & Yellow) where developing white spots on them. I was advised it was ICH. The spots started getting worse and worse. My Blue tang died a week later and last night my Yellow kicked the bucket. There a white spots moving all over the tank and glass. I started using Kick - ICH & Garlic and I still have not seen much improvement. Are all my fish going to die? Is there anything else to do? Please help, I am very worried. Thank you everyone who can help.

Run a search on ICK, but since you asked. When one fishy get's ICK they all have it. If you seen spots then you missed all the warning signs for a disease: Rapid erratic swiming, loss of color, and scratching.
-- remove all fish
-- place in a quarantine tank
-- invest in a UV light
-- treat fish until all signs are gone
-- wait a few more days
-- re-introduce a day at a time, less agressive fish first
If your asking what type of cures to use :( sorry, just don't use any in your reef tank <img src="graemlins//uhuh.gif" border="0" alt="[U-Huh]" /> bad news. I just don't believe there is a truely reef safe product yet. Sorry for your loss, use your quarantine tank in the future prior to introducing fish into the main tank. Never know what your LFS has in their water. Good luck

I had two damsel that started doing the "ICK" dance, and I read and read and read on the subject...Then I purchased Melafix...This is a completely natural treatment and is COMPLETELY safe for reef tanks..you do not need to go throught the hassle of quarentining the animals..
AND the best part is it does not have COPPER in it..They all are wonderful now and I have a Happy and Healthy tank....
