Ich Need Help Asap Please

we brought our fist pair of clowns now they have ich just wanting to know about the right level we need to keep them in hypo? I have read the thread it said 1.009 , but i have a deep six hydrometer is this ok to use i have also heard from my local fish shop to keep it at 1.020 and no lower very confused.2 months ago we had ich in the display but everthing is fine in the display have treated with copper before in hospital and it killed my fish i lost 1 powder blue 1 yellow tang 1 hippo tang 2 butterflys and the copper didn't even get to the required amount i will never use meds again so if you could please give me the right level and any advice that would be great as i don't want to lose them they are in the hospital now . ps what should i have the temp at ? thankyou

Temperature in the QT should be stable. It does not matter where it is (within a range of 78-82) but it needs to be stable.
Are you sure this is ich and not brooklynella? If so, 1.009 is the proper level of hyposalinity, and you maintain hyposalinity for 3-4 weeks. I would not use the hydrometer - they are terribly inaccurate. A refractometer will be one of the best purchases you make for your tank.
Do you have a pH and kH test kit?
As far as specific gravity, as close to natural is the best. Keeping it low long-term (below 1.020) will shorten the life span of the fish. For this reason, you want to have it around 1.025 or 1.026

Have got my clowns in the hospital but cannot see any spots on them now could it be something else. And just another question about the hypo in australia I can only find deep six or the glass hydrometer what should i do ?And are you sure about that level 1.oo9 that is right at the bottom of my deep that is low. just checking

Glass hydrometer. Can you order a refractometer? Ich will disappear, just to reappear later.

yes i have those test kits ph kh what is the kh supose to be i have been told so many different things, 300ppm , cal is 400 at the moment any ideas thanks
