Ich on Clown Trigger

I have read several post about ich and i am a little confused. The Clown trigger only has spots on the fins not the body. I have read post that say the trigger may fight it off, and to wait and see if it gets worse or better.I have also read post that say do do hypo. i don't have another tank set up. I am feeding garlic.

The trigger probably has a mild case of ick. With each passing stage of ick, it will get worse. I would suggest continuing with the garlic, but also start working on getting a hospital tank.
What type of tank do you have? You can do hyposalinity in a FO tank.

I have a 75G Fowlr. I have cleaner shrimp, hermit crabs, peppermint shrimp. I know these inverts are not good with clown triggers, but i put them in before i put him in.How long woul it take to get a Qt cycled

According to Beth and the others you do not need to cycle a hospital tank, if there is an urgent need for it. You just have to do water change everyday for a long time, until the ick dies. You cannot do hypo in your main tank obviously, so you might want to setup a hospital tank right now.
How long have you had the trigger with the shrimps?

I have had the clown trigger with the shrimp about a week. I have even watched them climb on the Clown trigger and clean him. I have had a Picasso Trigger with the shrimp about 4 Months.
