Ich please help

Hi everyone this is my first post, usually I just research a topic and gain knowledge but I wasnt really able to find anything about this so I decided to come here. I have a 55 Gal FOWLR and about a week ago I bought a yellow belly blue tang. My first mistake is that I was impatient and decided that I would not quarantine him before adding to my display tank. And of course after about two days I began noticing white dots and immediately figured it was ich. So I transferred him to my QT tank and began treating him with Quick cure (along with raising the temp to 82). The tang is alot better he no longer has white spots but I am still going to keep him in there for another two weeks at least. Now to my question. I also have in my main tank a Valentini Puffer, a Clownfish, and a Niger Trigger. I was wondering if I should treat the entire tank for ich even though any of the fish are showing any signs of it. I first thought that I caught it fast enough and it would not spread but after doing some research I am beginning to believe that I should treat my tank. Let me know what you guys think. thank you

I am not an expert on ick but I just got done curing my fish. Alot of people in this forum told me that even though your fish aren't showing signs of Ick, Ick eggs are floating around in the water waiting for a new victim. IMO, I would treat all the fish, hypo your DT tank and waiting 4 to 6 weeks before putting the fish back into your DT.
Like I said I am no expert but this is what I have learned from reading and asking questions on here.

well the only problem I have with treating my main tank is that my QT tank is not nearly big enough to hold four fish it would be to hard on them. I know its hard to treat a tank that have fish in it bc the parasites life cycle is hard to end since they will always have a host to cling onto. Is there any suggestions to get rid of the ich while having the fish in there at the same time.

Do you remember the names of the people who told you this, I would like to have their names on hand if I need some advice on the ick parasite
