I was wondering, if you had a ich breakout and your fish fought it off, and they did not get it again for 30 days would your tank be free of ich and u could add more fish? also has anyone used no-ich? its says its reef safe will not harm inverts or bacteria, ppl are raving on it at my LFS curious if anyone has xp here? :notsure:

In my experience, no-ick, kick-ick or any of those reef safe products have not work for me. The best way to get rid of the ick is hypo and copper. If it's a reef tank, catch the fish and treat it in a hospital tank. HTH

Oops, Yes there's still a chance that the ick can come back. How did you treat it? I do not believe a fish can fight off ick on its own without any kind of treatment. It may just be dormant.

i had a ich breakout when i added a hippo tang, he was the only fish that died from it. 3 green chromis watchman goby and fire fish survived and never got a spot on them tht was 4 months ago then i added 2 cardnals and i have seen like two white dots on the tail of one of them but im not 100 pct sure its ich and i really dont wanna tear my tank apart to get them out and i dont have a QT tank
