My flame angel looks like heis coming down with ich. Yesterday he had a whitespot on his side and this morning he has another one on his head. I am no expert but ich is what it looks like.
Currently, I have the flame angel, blue damsel, spotted mandarin & a perc clown. The last fish added was the Flame about 6 months ago. Also, a bubble coral(just added last week), yellow polyps, a hairy mushroom,3 turbos, about 20 blue leg & scarlet hermits(some just added last week),pepermint shrimp along with about 65 lbs of live rock in a 55 gallon tank.
The tank has been up for about 12 years. Ammonia, nitrites are 0. Nitrites are under 5, temp @78.I have not tried any treatments yet.
I was planning on moving everything to a 90 gallon tank in the very near future. I was considering my options on treating the fish but was not looking foward to trying to catch them to get them out of the tank. Would it be a good idea to move all the rock and inverts to the 90 leaving the fish in the 55 with some regular rock and treating them there, then after treatment move them to the 90. If so, could I use a copper based medication or is another method better?
Thanks in advance for your help and time. You guys are great. I have learned alot since I found this fourm last month.
