ICH?treat or???

My 2 day old clowns are showing some signs of ich. They were the first 2 fish i have added to my newly cycled tank.I also have a cc starfish and 3 snails and about a dozen blueleg hermits. What should i do?? i have 35lb of live rock and 80lb live sand. Should i get rid of these 2 fish?? I would really hate to do that but i dont want to kill the rest of my inhabitants in the process. Can anyone advise Please????

What does "get rid of" mean?? You can treat the fish with hyposalinity in a hospital tank.

hey beth, is it possible to have ich one day and not the next? do the symptoms come and go??? today my fish have no white specs on tham and one of them is eating very well.

If you have a FO tank, you can easily do hyposalinity right in your tank. If not, and you're not prepared to set up a hospital, then at least offer the fish garlic soaked food for about a month at least. In the meantime, be prepared for the ich to return. If it doesn't, you lucked out, if does, then you're ready.
Don't add any more fish now for a couple of mos at least.
