Ich Treatment

I have a 100g tank about a year old. I have a cortez ray, a lionfish, and a leopard shark. I some live rock throughout the tank. I recently have had problems with ich. My parameters are fine, but it seems everytime I add a new fish, they get it and die, but my other guys don't get infected. I added a huma huma and another trigger, and they both died within 3 weeks. Does ich stick around my rocks, and if so what can I do? My uv sterilizer has gone bad and has been down for 5 months. Could this be my problem? I am in the process of getting a new one. If ich does stay on the rocks, would a ich treatment and water change cure this?

You have some tough fish to treat. Sharks and rays don't do well in hyposalinity nor copper treatment. They also are not likely to get ich. Can you remove the LR into a tub for three to four weeks? Ich cannot host your rock, but can breed on it. Cycle a qt for your lion. Ich can and will host him.
