ich with cleaner wrasse

I have just recently purchased a cleaner wrasse that is about an inch in size. He has ich. I want to know if i can put him in a 2.5 gallon to treat him because I don't have any other things to put him in and I don't want to treat my tank with everything in it. Thanx any help will be good.

You can do that as long as you maintain good water quality in the treatment tank. I suggest that you use hyposalinity as the treatment method.
