Question, I have herd/read that fish can get ICH from being stresed. What I don't understand is; how does a fish in the display tank suddenly get a parasite (ICH) from being stressed if none (parasite) were introduced to the tank? <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

It could be when the animal gets stressed that it's immune system gets weak, just like humans. Then when the immune system is down the parasite can really take effect on the fish. That's what i think.

ICH is always in the fish...it's when it's stressed it comes out and can kill the fish...but it is there.

They tell me the same thing at the LFS. Not good to stress the fish. I am going to GNC to get a garlic preparation today.
