I have a 55 gal tank , two clown, one yellow tang, one royal gramma, two sea urchins, one peppermint shrimp, one cleaning shrimp and some hermits and plenty of live rock.
Tank age 7 months. Water conditiond good. The royal gramma and clown fish have develope ick. I have put them in a 10 gal hosp tank with four drops of formalin and Malachite Green and rise temp to 80 F.
Questions. Have I done the proper thing and shoul I feed the hospital, how much and how often. ?
Thank you.

Yup. You're on the right track. Treat them for three days after all signs of ich are gone.. Feed normally. Just make sure to take the carbon out of the filter, and be sure not to add more food than they'll eat, cause with the filter compomised you don't want to drive up nitrates...

I would disagree. Malachite green is a freshwater ich treatment. Formalin is not reliably effective for ich.
The only reliable treatments are hyposalinity and copper. Check out the sticky at the top of this forum for more information on how to do these treatments.
