I have a 125 gal display with 100 lbs of LR and 4-5 inch DSB. I discovered ick on my Heniochus Butterflyfish about a week or so ago and I was just going to put him in the 29 gal QT, but the ick has now spread to the Naso tang and one of the clowns. So i have to hypo the whole tank. I do have a refactometer. I have 3 tanks set up that are NOT in use right now.
A 55 gal that i was going to break down this week, but didnt
a 29 gal QT tank
and 18 gal old QT that got to small so i got the 29.
The 55 gal and 29 gal tank are completely set up with water filters heaters ect. The 18 gal just needs water.
In the 125 gal tanks my livestock includes.
Heniochus Butterflyfish
Naso Tang
Niger trigger
2 perc clowns
dimino damsel
Yellow tail blue damsel
2 brittle stars
1 marble star
lots of blue legs, scarlet, and zebra hermits
lots of snails.
My question is should I pull the fish out an hypo them in the 3 seperate tanks or should I pull the LR and inverts out and hypo the display.
Sorry about the long post any advice is appreciated.
