ick in tank

Ok as you guys can see i have lost all my fish due to the dreaded ick...my question is I have a snowflake eel left in the display tank he doesnt seem to have gotten ick i have looked at him closly and cant find a white spot on him besides his normal skin pattern....my question is will this ick die if i leave the tank empty with out any fish for a month with just the Eel...or am i just wasting my time..I have learned my lesson the hard and expensive way by not having a hospital tank and treating the fish first but now i do..anyone help or am i just wasting time by having the display tank with the Eel in it and no fish the ick out brake happend in the display tank with the Eel in it and everyone died...1 tang,1 firefish,1sailfin angel, 1 flame angel

I am gonna have a hard time to get him out but i guess i have no choice
Will do...also can i treat the Eel with that coppermine stuff? or will it kill it?..

Damn too late i was able to get him out of the live rock into QT tank and i have him in there with copper mine will he be ok? so far he looks fine? i havent tried hypo cause all i have is a swing arm tester and i read that they arent accurate and dont know where to get a refracto thing from
