Hey,
First of all, welcome to the board!
As far as ich questions, you may want to post this in the desease forum. Many very helpful people there. They will need to know what's in your tank, is it a reef or fo or fowlr. I know ich can be treated by soaking the fishes food in garlic juice. Anything you can do to reduce stress in the fish will also help. A cleaner shrimp may also help in picking the ich off. I am by no means an expert on this so try the other forum while waiting for a reply. Hang in there!
