Ick relapse?

Couple of months ago I had posted of an ick problem in my tank. Since I removed all of the fish and gave them back to my livestock while I set up my own Hospital and let the ick in my tank die off.
It has been 7 weeks since I had no fish in the tank and I have recently added a pair of Black Percs and a Diamond Goby into my
main tank.
Now I have been watching the percs very closely over the last two days and notice that they may already be getting ick
My sand bed had not been cleaned during that seven week time period and when the Diamond goby started sifting around the sand I had cloudy water for a short period
The one or two spots on one of my black percs seems to look like I could just flick it off him. I question if it is just some mebbe undissolved salt or something that was stuck in the sand or if during this 7 week time frame the ick did not ever die?
My LFS tells me the ick can live on my LR or something that didn't seem to make alot of sense and it may or may not be gone after 7 week time frame.......
Any help please?

As far as the Black Percs. They were in my LFS for 6 months in copper, then my QT now my Display.
None of the fish have inflamed gills, or irradict breathing, all of the fish are eating.
My ammonia, nitrites, nitrate, PH and Calc are tested to be at their proper levels.
I am just paranoid perhaps the ick is not gone, does this sound like something I should worry about of perhaps some debris from the sand that got stuck on the fish?
Thanks

The Percs were my LFS in same tank since Oct of last year. The store told me they keep copper in their fish only tanks. They assured me there really is noway they can have any disease and have been disease free since they received them.
They only got QT'd for 2 weeks in my home tank and since I saw no signs or stress I put them into my display.
Been in main display couple of days.
