what would be the best way to treat my main tank for ick. i have live rock and live sand and some snails and crabs plus 2 fish that i cant catch if my life depended on it please help

sorry to say, but you might have to take out the rocks to catch them. Try using a bigger net and cornering the fish. It took me 4 hours to catch my firefish. I used the rock he was hiding in to nudge it to the corner and then i quickly swooped it against the glass with my net. It died buy leaping out of the tank, out of a whole the size of 2 quarters!!!

Do you have a hospital tank??? You can not treat fish with ich in a tank that has LR, SS or inverts. Your 2 choices is hyposalinity or copper, with hypo being the preferrable.
Otherwise, if removing the fish is impossible, then going with one of the so-called reef safe meds is all you can do. I've never used them, and don't recommend them. They have limited value in address ich and I have seen ill effects on inverts.
