ID" affect GHP?

This might be a dumb question, but does the Diameter of the tubing/PVC/elbows, etc used for your Sump/Return/Overflow affect the overall flow of the water?
In other words, if my Mag18 has a 3/4" output, will I get better flow rates, more efficient, if I use 1" ID tubes/pipes??

Yes, and also, every 90degree bend is like a foot of water pressure. The more bends the slower the flow. Also a check valve really slows down your flow, but keeps you from flooding during a power outage.

i beleive the recommended id for a mag 18 is 1 1/2 for optimun flow.
