id coral eater??

i have had this guy for a while now. i have always kept an eye on him to see if its him eating my corals, but never have seen him eating corals untill today. just trying to get a i.d. before flushing him.

that is what I always have read, they are supposed to be wonderful clean up crew additions.

Key hole limpits do eat corals, but they usually have a key hole at the top of the cone shaped shell. If not it's most likely a good limpit.

I dont know much about limpets, but I know that I have one just like the one pictured here and it hasnt touched my corals what so ever. Algae eater for sure. Are you positive he was munching on corals? Theres many other candidates for this too.
