I bought this frag at the LFS the other day. The owner said it would be an easy SPS, since it is my first. He said it was a "green slimer", but it doesn't look like any of the photos I've seen of slimers.
Also, when I first got it, it didn't have any polyps. Now (3 days later), it seems to be getting some.
Does anybody have any input on this? Does it seem to be ok?

I am only guessing here need some other to chime in but almost looks like Heliopora sp.

Yeah, but its neon green, not blue...

It's a Hydnophora. Give them lots of space, they are pretty aggressive.
The name Green Slimer usually refers to green varieties of Acropora yongei.
