ID (eggs?)

Hey, I've been away from my tank for a few weeks and my friend watching it found something strange on the glass (other than the algae that he didn't clean off). My guess is that they are snail eggs but they don't look like the other pictures of snail eggs that I have seen. Has anyone had anything like this? Or do you have information on the gestation of the eggs if they are from a snail?

Yeah, I have some of those. I also have some margarite and astrea snails. Anybody have info on the eggs if that is what they are?

It is kinda hard to tell the size of those so I asked my friend who is watching the tank. I am told that they are smaller than a water droplet...don't know if that helps at all.
