ID for type of red macro algae

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me anything about this macro algae? Does it need high light? Low light? No light? High flow? Low flow?
It almost looks like a cabbage coral and it is very soft and almost spongy feeling.

Cool, that is what I originally thought that it was but I really was not sure so I did not want to jump to conclusions.
