I was looking at my tank say something walking down the side it looked like it had a / at one end and round on the other about a 1/4 inch long clear white center. Ill try 2 get a pic if i c it again

No, they are awesome critters and do not get prolific or anything. They do eat pods but not enough to impact anything.

There are many different types of flatworms. Some are prolific and can cover your coral depriving them of light and oxygen. These type can totally cover your tank and kill coral before you are able to get their numbers under control. There is a specific pumpkin shaped one that is very bad at doing this... but I have never never seen one thus I don't have a pic...
The other one which can get very vast in their numbers are these. I don't like to see these in my tank in any great numbers.

These next two are perfectly harmless.
These are very tiny and I can almost always see them in my tanks either right above the substrate line or at the water line, where nutrients are rich and pods hang out.

This was the biggest of the bunch so they are about this size and smaller for the most part.


These are the type you have. I have never seen more than 5 in my tank at a time. I had them for about a year and then they died off... ran out of pods I guess. I loved them and was sad to see them leave. You can see the copepods in it's belly and one trying to run away directly to the left of it.
