ID please - pics enclosed

Hi i hope you can help me id these two things in my tank, they both seem to be growing so well and i hope that neither of them are bad and there both good so any help would be greatly appreciated.
These first few pics are of a snail and what i need to id is what seems to be a whole bunch of little feather dusters, well atleast i hope there feather dusters, never seen anything like it before.

Here are some pics of something thats growing on my overflows, i thought that they were barncles but im not sure

not sure on the first.
the 2nd are spirorbid <-(sp?) worms. harmless filter feeders that will go away as your tank matures.

The first are hydroids.
Second, I agree, are spirorbid worms.

the worms, will they grow on the rocks too?

they can pretty much show up anywhere.

are the hydroids bad?

if they get out of control they can be bad. most are common in new tanks and go away as the tank matures, just as the spirorbid worms do.
