Last night I noticed brown spots on one of our frogspawns in the white area between the soft tissue & skeleton. Today I sucked some out with a tiny hose and after the soft tissue withdrew, I saw these was also spots on the soft tissue & found one on a striped mushroom that was nearby. They do move because I could eliminate them all on 1 side then flip the coral over and there would be more on that side - sucked them out, flip and repeat. Is this a pest? Are they bad? By gently shaking after the coral had closed up, a few came off in the water as well. It almost seemed as if they slowly scoot around? They look like tiny flat blobs. We have other euphyllias & elegances in the tank, not sure if I should be worried or not?

These are showing up everywhere lately. It's a waminoa .... a flatworm. Unfortunately these area little more problematic than most of the others.
I would so love to trade some for something.... I have Tisbe, Tigriopus and Pseudocyclops pods?... and 4 different kinds of Phyto? :) And of course I would pay for shipping. If I found these in a coral tank I would work on removal....
I would even pay for a coral they were on....
Ya... I want them that bad :)

So after you figure out a way to get some to Renee (Cranberry) look into using some Flatworm Exit on the tank. Follo wthe dirctions carefully because if you have a lot of them and they all die at once it could hurt your tank. Again follow the directions carefully.

you could try a fresh water dip. had a ricordia rock with some on them and after a few seconds in the fresh water, they came right off.
