I just got a 8lb rock from my LFS and I wonder what I have on it.

the first pic is called bubble algea you can get a emrald crab to eat it but they are a hit or miss. The 2nd pic are zoos.

Is bubble algea bad?

Ya, if they pop then they release spores into the water that make more bubble algea. You can remove them manually by pulling off the bubbles, but just don't pop them.

and I also noticed this
