I just added live rock to my tank - and low and behold this creature showed up on my glass. The photo isn't very good but it looks like a baby starfish - however it's all white in color. Any ideas what it is and should I remove it from my tank? Thanks!

i cant for the life of me remember the name of the starfish...but i can tell you that this is a good starfish and you should leave him in your tank.

ahh...thank you...i couldnt remember the name...i remember reading that the ones that eat coral tissue are rare to have in your tanks...with that being said i also do remember reading that it is VERY hard to tell the differance in the predatory kind vs. non-predatory kind...so like johnthefishguy said...it's your call on pulling it or not.
