Is bubble algae beneficial?
I started a 2nd tank recently and never had any in my 1st tank, so I dont know if this stuff is good or bad. I have aybe a dozen tiny bubbles on a zoa rock.
Will emerald crabs, sexy shrimp, nass/troch snails, or hermits chow down on bubble algae?

We have 3 emeralds, they have not made it all the way up there yet! Thanks for the id! Will it perk up after a few days in there? How long does it take to attach?

Thanks to all for the ID....
I cannot seem to find any info on how to care for the Kenya tree.
Dose it need lots of light or low light? High or medium flow? I have looked at pics and all seem to stand tall and open, also how fast do they spred, i may need to place it somewhere it has lots of room to spred. As of now it is on a branch of Tonga LR at the very top on my 56g tall. It seems to be just slumped over,
the only movement is when a small current hits it.
Thanks to all for the quick replies and all your help..........

it needs medium light and medium flow...what type of lights do you have? kenya are normally bullet proof...if given proper care a kenya tree will spread so fast that it has a chance of taking over a tank so you need to be careful...you may want to increase the flow that hits the kenya tree...but i need to know what type of lights you have and your exact water parameters to better assist you...

How long has it been in the tank? If it looks like that over a week, I would say your water parameters are off, and there may be a serious issue, because like the others have said, this is a hardy coral.
Maybe there is a connection between the heavy algae/water quality. What do you test for?
