whats the name of this coral (colour is purple but is not that clear in pic).. and what are the fan like tentacles that pop out of the holes???? (attempted to circle one in the pic)

In your pics the coral is somewhat closed. When galaxea is fully expanded the skeleton underneath isn't as visible like that.

Have to agree with Viper and Renogaw, looks like Galaxea to me too.
