ID, Please!!

I got this hitchhiker on some coral, and I need to know what it is; It looks like a Boxing Crab, but it doesn't have any anemones attached, and I don't have any in my tank either.

Thats what it is, boxing or pom pom crab. No anemones unfortunately, not a really good sign. They can find alternatives to them but IMO they dont really work out too well.

Yup, pom-pom or boxing crab. Cool hitch hiker. They us a specific anemone but if there are none in your live rock then they can and do sometimes pick up other things. Is it alive or is that just a molt?

It as absolutely alive, and extremely active! I think I will l let him be, and see what he attaches to...
