Yup, it needs to go. Few things that will work:
inject it with boiling water
aptaisia X
joe's juice
kalkwasser paste

If its just sitting on top of that plastic plant, you might be able to just pick it out.

I didn't know Aiptasia's could be that pink. When I battled an infestation in 2007, they were silky white. There was no other color.

There is more than one species of Aiptasia. Lighting and water quality can also change their coloring.

I've had a lot of deep purple colored aptasia. They were pretty...too bad they are naughty anemones! I got a couple peppermint shrimp, and now they are all gonners :)
