ID please

Friend gave me this coral. Not sure what it is.

Kinda looks kinda like a cinarina. Some people call it a "modern coral" although I don't know why. That's the closest that I can come for an ID. HTH

I agree...some type of cynarina...I keep a green/reddish colored one. Mine likes a meaty direct feeding and responds well in moderate lighting and current. Best of luck with yours...it looks healthy.

Man mine use to be in the worst conditions possible. Took it off my buddy who didnt keep up on his tank at all. No lighting except for rays of sun light through the blinds, no feeding, always very low water table.lol. Actually I took a few of his corals and all under those condition were and are doing great.

and i can saddly confirm what hes saying it true ...very glad to see his tank come down ..and the corals go to a responsible reefer
