Hard to say because the pic is not a close up to see details but my first thought is hydroids...

thanks for the reply..but what is that...do i just type that word in and search..do u have any info on these..good,bad,,any info will be appreciated.....what do they turn into...

Yes just google that word, most are bad to have and can sting and kill corals and take over a tank...They dont turn into anything, they are what they are...but can spread fast....If that is what those are on that rock, then I would remove that rock.

you can try .... but I don't know if they'll come back or not. As stated, if they are hydroids you might want to remove the rock completely.

ok here is an update..my porcelin crab seems to be eating this..i am going to assume its algea of some type..i know that if it was hydroids that they would sting...would that mean also they would sting the crab if it was touching it????...

ive never seen my porcelain crab eat anything besides what he grabs out of the water column.

my porcelin is retarted lol..he came on a jumpin coral lol..he lived in the base of a coral i bought a while ago..moves the rock around the tank..up the rock etc...but he was eating it..alot of it is gone now...
