I believe it is Echinaster sentus, an adult. Do you know if it is caribbean or pacific? Any signs of it going after anything in your reef tank?

Ophuira, I would hate to disagree with the expert, but I think its a Echinaster spinulosus, or the Orange-Ridged Sea Star. (not that there is a whole lot of difference.:) )

i dont know where its from ......but never went for any corals , just passes em by...

Don't know if it is or not???? Must be ok so far, but I wouldn't buy a 100 dollar clam and throw in your tank.
