ID: something new...purple tube thing

I found these two purple things under a mushroom. I dont know what they are but they seem to inhale and exhale. They expand, then a few seconds later a little hole opens and it collapses. Its kinda neat and I dont see myself removing it whatever it is. Just wondering.

Second one Vermetid.

The Vermetid seems to live in a tube made of crushed coral bits. I cant really imagine how it made this but SW fish keeping never ceases to amaze me.

no but thanks anyway. Would that fit in a 12 gal bio do you think? It looks very nice.
I was thinkin of this little skimmer box that clips on to the top intake grates. creates surface agitation. I cant find it tho and I have surface scum in my nano.

First one looks like a very interesting Sea Squirt (definately some type of Tunicate).
The second isn't a Vermetid Snail. It appears to be some species of Phyllochaetopterus sp.
