ID this.....well, thing

ok, i stole this pic from another thead cause i noticed at the bottom there is something that i have and don't know what it is. 2 little anemone lookin things have started growing on a fragment of rock i bought tubeworms on. one is pretyt smal and the other is growing fast
there both, i believe, growing out of some holes or something, cause when they close up, you can't see them whatsever.

at the bottom of this picture, there is some things wiht tentacles on the rock. what are those?

Aiptasia. They are bad, try some Joe's juice and nuke them!

so it's nothing i could like somehow frag and sel? thats a disapointment ><
and, if you don't mind me asking, whats bad about them?

they multiply realy fast and sting other corals and can and do kill them very quickly. in general they like to take OVER!!

i don't have any corals in the tank, but i don't want them to get big and sting my tubeworms or clownfish. off they go tomorrow

Just kill them and you will be glad. They spread very quickly and have a very potent sting. They can kill lots of things. They will grow just about any where on your glass, equipment, and cause you nothing, but trouble. Get rid of them while there are only a few.
