I've had a few different things start growing in my tank. A lot of them are sponges but what is this? :thinking:

Neomeris sp.,or caterpillar / spindle weed macroalgae. I've been told it is excellent for LR diversity. I've had mine for several months. I like it and it has not spread to the point of being a problem. Lee

I must say I like the color of it almost my favorite in my tank.

yea it is also good food for algie grazers. I used to have some till my foxface made quick work of it.

i would like to get some of that heh. Also would be good to take nutrients form nussiance algae. It use up nitrates like FW plants?
