Hey guys and gals,
I just thought of a neat idea for a return nozzle... maybe someone can look into it. You know how most people use rainbow loclines as part of their return plumbing? Well, if you take off the end of it, you can snap on a new design...
Design:
Based on a propeller style powerhead... the return water blasts through the nozzle and hits a propeller blade. The blade spins, and sends the water out in a more gentle direction - and spreads it out in a wider area. Another idea would be to attach the propellars shaft to an oscellator, which would make the return nozzle end change the direction of the flow in a 360 degree rotation, creating more natural wave movements...
Anyways,... thoughts? Opinions? Design flaws? Applications?
Just throwing this idea out there - I don't have the time for patents or anything. lol!!! I would buy one if it was on the shelf.
