i have
55 gallons tank
300 watt heater
filter
and air pump
gravels
2 tangs,
kelinn butterfly,
2 maroon crown(gold),
and 2 damsels.
i didn't circle the tanks, i bought the tank and put the fishes in. The 2 tangs and 2 maroon crowns beat the crap out of each other so i split the tang and maroon into the 10 gallons tank. The big tank now have 1 ppm of ammonia, nitrite good, nitrate good, and ph level good. There are some brown spots on the gravels and the big piece of coral. The fishes been in the tank for hmm, about 3 weeks now. i have no idea what stage is the circling is on. is it the beginning?
There is ich outbreak in the 55 gallons tank, how much chance the fish have to fight those iches away without any medication??, i am soaking the food with koylic extract garlic tablet, and fishtamin(can't find zoe, or selcon).

Why would you not cycle your tank?
If you have a heavy infestation of ick, then the chances of beating it with garlic are next to nill. However, the changes of these fish surviving under these conditions are next to nill anyway.
Make your next hobby purchase a good marine book. Let me suggest Bob Fenner's, "The Conscientious Marine Aquarist"....the emphasis being on "conscientious."
