Ideas for fish..

I'm tryin to think of a couple fish to put into my 46 bowfront when I get it back up and running.. The tank will be a frag tank.
I've always liked fuzzy dwarf lions.. do you feel they'd be a problem in a frag tank?
Would a snowflake eel out grow the system?
Any suggestions?

Do frag tanks traditionally have a lot of flow?
Mmm I'll probably have the eggcrate up high and a powerhead on only one side of the tank that blasts the right side of the tank... this way I could set the coral that demands higher flow on the right side and lower flow towards the left.
Is flow an issue with these fish?

I guess to really answer your question better... I would probably end up with the same flow as a normal reef tank.

Dwarfs don't like to be blown around too much. I've seen them open their pectorals and like a kite with wind behind it, the flow blew them into the glass. Bigger guys are able to tolerate it much more. I would put a lion in a normal reef environment. Sometimes just some flow redirection can make them happier if it's too much.

I'd be afraid of a full-sized lion stabbing my coral.
Why are dwarfs considered 'reef safe with caution'? They going to pick on shrimp and such?

They will definitely nom nom your shrimp.
I meant a large adult dwarf lion... not a large species. Older juvies or sub adults is what you usually see at the LFS.
They won't stab your corals. If you have a reef without shrimp.... they are reef safe.

Yeah, I don't do shrimp anymore in a reef.. way too hard to feed coral with them... except sexy shrimp... but those wouldn't be in the frag tank.
Thanks.

Then GO FOR IT!!
Fuzzies are the neatest little fish. They are a big bioload but you won't have many of the issues faced with peeps who have to "feed the tank" to feed their fish. Where they eat from a stick without food landing anywhere else, algae issues are a minimum. But I suspect your frag tank will have good lights and a little higher heat, which could potentially be the match for the fuel. But I don't have any issues with nuisance algae in my tanks that aren't "tank fed".
