ideas for next fish/invert

I'd like some advice about what to add to my 4-month-old 55 gallon tank next. I'd like to keep it reef safe, although my lighting isn't appropriate for corals yet.
I have:
30 lbs live rock
1 yellow tang
1 coral beauty
2 damsals
1 valentino puffer
1 coral banded shrimp
2 bumble bee snails

Well, I would make it an invert, since your fish load is getting pretty high, but I would also worry about a puffer mixed in with inverts.

If I had to choose, it would be inverts. But like mentioned, they most likely will become food. If you truely want a reef safe tank return the puffer. Remember, it could wipe out your entire tank if stressed also. The CBS and damels get a bad additude after time and you may want to consider removal down the road.

Thanks for the good advice. What do you mean about the puffer destroying the tank? Right now, he's the most docile of the 5 fish in there.
Thanks!

I was mistaken, I thought all puffers could release a toxin into the tank when stressed. Sorry for the confusion.

I would add a serpent starfish, cleaner shrimp, some snails, and a fighting conch. They are all great additions and fun to watch!

Thanks Clarkii and Dacia for help.
I'll go with more inverts and keep a close eye on the puffer...I don't want him chomping my shrimp...
Happy holidays.
