Ideas on new setup... I want to do this right!

Several years ago I had a reef aquarium that I pieced together with limited success. I relocated to Columbus, OH and sold the equipment. I'm ready to jump back into the hobby, but want to do it right this time. While I'm not made of money, I am looking to spend what I need to in order to have a great setup that is reef ready (I'd like to have it all in there!).

I'm not sure exactly what I will need to "do it right", and am looking for ideas. Here is a list that I put together, but I'm really not sure if it is what I need, or if I am missing anything. Would appreciate thoughts and ideas.

I'm in no hurry to complete this, but when it is done, I really want that WOW factor of color, variety and purity of water. Am I way off here in either equipment or price?

Thanks in advance for your input and ideas!

Mmmmmm pretty long list!!!!!!
The first item I will comment on is the sump.....Way overpriced and can save a ton of cash if you DIY or find a good acrylic fabricator to do your sump....No way does it warrant $800.00. Wavemaker PH's....I think your limiting yourself in that department. Either look towards the Vortec or Tunze PH's. A little more cash outlay up front, but would be definitely money well spent and will outperform standard PH's. You can also save a little cash on the RO/DI system. SpectraPure very good unit, but others are more comparable. Your Heating system is a little over the top. Finnex would be my choice or Jali, and going with 1 big 1000w unit, could lead to an overheat. Try going with several smaller units, to eliminate the possibility of the heater sticking and nuking everything. Lighting....love the choice of LED's but again would suggest doing a bit of research and going the DIY way to save and custom tailor the units to your exact needs and specs. Calcium Reactor!!!!! Definitely wouldn't be on my list of needs or wants at the on set of a build per say. Honestly you can't really determine if your system will even warrant the need. Start with a 2part and determine what the demand actually is for the system. Also nicer units out there as well. Ozonizer is another ????? Not a must have at all. What is your purpose? I have run them in the past and nice units, but depending what your after there might be other ways to skin that cat!!!!!! Sand!!!!!! Why buy all live sand....Use dry sand and seed the dry sand with LS. Will also save money as well.
