Hello reefers
I have a trivia question worth $100. (lol)
I have a 10 gallon hexagon reef aquarium that has been running for approximately 6 months now. I purchased a LR with Clove Polyps on it approximately 2 weeks ago and I noticed recently that a white film has been growing on the new LR and has attached itself to another piece of live rock (See attached photo). I am concered that this could lead to a serious issue and may even jeopardize the reef enviornment that I have been trying to maintain.
My water parameters are in line and I have 4 watts per gallon.
Live Stock: Damsel, Chromis, Condy Anenome
Coral: Clove Polyps and Mushrooms
Thanks for any help provided!
The photo is within the word document attached above. I believe the coarse material is sand but I am not sure.
