Identification of Item on LR

I have recently had an adventure with this creature (some type of crab) rearing its ugliness and killing 2 of my fish. I can isolate him from the live rock he seems to be roaming, but I fear he may have reproduced on some spots. I have attached a picture of what I may think be an egg? Can anyone identify? I will attach a picture of the crab as well. YUCK!!

Nasty lookin' crab.....from the looks of the claws I'd of removed it too!!! As for the other pic...it may just be a common and harmless sponge...tough to tell from the pic...but I doubt its crab eggs.....more likely a sponge or tunicate or something close.

looks like it might be a gorilla crab. Its listed on Tampa Bay liverocks site as a hitchiker you'll want to remove if found in one of their shipments.
