I would guess that they are a people eater (palythoa) of some type, unsure of specifics.

It's a zoanthid. I think the pic is too much of a closeup.LOL

Maybe your on to something there. I never realized majanos were colonial....kinda like your pic where there is one all by itself....

Joe, the tips of your picture come to a point where the OP's are more rounded. Majano are always pointy.
