My mom recently lost a royal gramma and peppermint shrimp and now her clown looks sick. From what we've read it looks to be Brooklynella but could we get some expert opinions please.

Yes, it does look like brooklynella, however this disease is a fish disease, not effecting shrimp.
The treatment is formalin dip. There is a link to an article in the FAQ section.
