I finally have MH on my 30 gallon, so naturally, I immediately began taking advantage of it. I purchased all of these, but the two SPS frags are somewhat unknown.
Sorry for the crappy quality...
First off, here's my new Maxima

This guy I got a couple days ago...
Can't tell very well by the pic, but the base starts as a red then turns green and tops off with a brilliant royal blue. It has flower-like polyps covering throughout (lol, can you tell I'm new to SPS?). Does anyone know what this is?

I just got this one today. Awesome frag with great growth. I have been watching it double its size over the last two months. It's bright green with brown-ish polyps. My LFS could not directly ID it. All I know about it is that it's a type of Acropora from the Marshall Islands. Again, any help with an ID would be appreciated...

Thanks for looking

And mods, if you feel this thread is more appropriate for the Coral section, feel free to move it.
I won't mind, seeing as how every other picture in the fish photography section makes me feel outrageously inadequate anyway

I know... I'm sorry about the picture quality and blurriness. I will try to do a bit better when the lights come back on... This camera drives me nuts.
Hopefully I can turn out somethin better...

Just guessing...#1 maybe a blue tort that hasn't started branching yet. #2 might be Green Bali slimer???
Again, I'm just guessing.

#2 is not a slimer. All I know is that it is some type of acro from the Marshall Islands. My slimer is being added along with a nice pink birds nest in a week or so

I'm adding my second attempt at pics in a couple minutes...

These are a little better... Let me know if I need to try again..

Heh heh, this guy is within a foot of my monster bubble coral, so my GSM goes crazy and ATTACKS my little yellow clown goby, but he's relentless... Little guy loves his new acro and refuses to move! In fact, he's perched in the same spot this very moment

and that yellow clown goby needs to go. gobys nest in the branches of sps corals and will cause STN/RTN. all types of tissue recession.

What is STN/RTN??
I'll be sad if the goby has to go... He's one of the only survivors of the great tank crash of '07!

Clown gobies eat the polyps of sps corals.
