If it is not ick...what is it??

This is my first marine fish aq. I have recently purchased yellow tail blue damsels (3) to go with the one I had. One of the new ones has a white spot above his one eye - looks like paint was "dripped" on him - two other spots (smaller) on his body. Tank has been up and running for four months. Water quality ok. Anyone know what this might be?

what size tank - what fish has the spot the tang or a damsel? what else is in the tank (any inverts)? about how big are the spots? if like salt specks it is ick.
