Romney would be good. I at least hope he will get involved to help get us out of the hole that is being dug deeper by Obama and his merry band of cosmic commies

lil' Reagan? That doesn't equate to "digging out of hole"
I'm a "conservative" democrat, does that count? I may vote Guiliani or Jindal over Obama in four years, we'll see....if its Palin, you might as well start thinking about 2016....

Aint going to be Palin. She is smart enough but the Mary Ann persona aint going to fly. Rudy I don't think will try again. I think it will be Romney and Huckabee getting the most attention.

There is also a good chance that I would cross the line for Huckabee as well, maybe its just b/c he is such a "nice guy", I don't know. And maybe the media hasn't done a good enough job fairly representing Romney, but everytime I heard him speak it came across wrong and too hoity...

What impressed me about Huckabee is if you watched him when he was asked a question he actually listened and answered in a thoughtful way instead of using one of the canned answers politicians memorize for such situations. That is getting rare, a politician saying what they really think.

Right! And he genuinely seems like a nice guy. Its not like most politicians (either side) that just seem like they are "putting up with you". He actually seems to care. Now, if its an act, bravo, he wins an oscar!!!

cant get more true conservitive (and educated)than newt but he would draw way to much flackto win unfortunately. my vote right now lies with jindal he has proven his fiscal responsibility and so far looks good to me. he has 2 1/2 years to go which may be to long in the public eye for the driveby's to continually beat on him

I like Jindal, Huckabee, and a couple more but I am way more concerned about conservative ideals getting back on track, than I am about who the new standard bearer wil be.
