if you had about 200 bucks for a skimmer, what would you buy?

hello everyone. my mom finaly let me build a sump and one of the first thigns i want to do after i set all that up is upgrade my skimmer. i believe my sps arent doing the best is because i have a coralife super skimmer that isnt the greatest, and its rated for a 65 but its on my 40. so its not that oversized like iw oudl want. but then adding a 20 gallon sump, i would like to get a bigger skimmer and would like to set my budget around 200 bucks. i was looking at models anywhere from an aqua C urchin to a berlin style to an ASM skimmer. does anyone have any preferences? do you have anymroe suggestions?

i havent checked. its only in boston though and the guy sponsors our local reef club. we get 20% off of live stock (i can get blasto frags of 5 heads for like 25 bucks!) but unfortuantly, nothing off of dry goods. but he has shown up to some of our meetins, so if he does, i could get shipping for free1!

hmmm.... a guy form my reef club jsut put up a red sea berlin for 70 bucks with the pump..... im asking what type of berlin it is though. if its the XL i will get it, if its the classic, i might. what do you think murph? (i want to ge a big skimmer so that my sps wont mind having my new fuzzy dwarf around :cheer: )

It is jsut the classic model but everyone that i have read reviews form online have said that they liked it a lot. its selling for 150 on online sites. sounds like a good idea. anyone else have a review?

i dont knwo about being worth over 400. maybe form a LFS. but im seeing you can buy it for 300.
its possible. i havent heard too many reviews on the kent skimmers so ill look aorund. thanks for the offer though

Didn you add the Mag12, fittings they dont give you and hose...and not to forget shipping..
Either way..keep it in mind....
