If you had to guess....

Which American would you think had the longest funeral procession in our nation's history? It just might surprise you...

Now it's all about deductive reasoning... You have to look to what you know about Darth to answer this, (or just Google it). It's not an entertainer, as stated above. It's not an athlete because star wars geeks don't know sports, (although I know that Wilt Chamberlain had at least 20k at his funeral). It's Darth posting so I'd have to say it's a republican politician, either Ronald Reagan or Newt Gingrich... is Newt actually dead, I can't tell when he speaks...

Lincoln was republican though...
Still, there were less people during those times, so it could very well be Reagan

Looks like the honest guy's got it.
Yep I cheated.

Me too... Where do you think I got the picture...

I said longest. Not largest. In terms of miles. Not a politician. The individual was murdered. Keep guessing. Remember I said you would be surprised. So that rules out the obvious.

Longest as in distance traveled or longest as in length of the procession? Did it happen last year?

Distance traveled. Happenned this year. Not a musician.

oops, that's what I meant...this year. If you're talking about Chris Kyle that was only about 200 miles. One could argue that the Lincoln train was longer.

Only 200 miles? The train for Lincoln doesn't count as a funeral procession. Otherwise are boys coming back from overseas would be longer as the plane flight eclipses the train.

Technically there were multiple processions along the way. I think it could still be argued. But I don't want to take anything away from Mr. Kyle, either.

I was going to guess Lennon. I know about a quarter of a million people showed up for a gathering but didn't know if it counted as a procession.
